Online Research Workshop: Using Technology in Family History Research

Welcome

Thank you for registering for our online research workshop!

Technology has revolutionized family history research—allowing us to access billions of records from the comfort of our homes and to store and organize countless files digitally. But with cutting edge tools and resources emerging all the time, it can be difficult to know where to start or how to keep up! In this three-day, interactive online experience you'll learn how to further your research with technology through lectures from our staff, real-time demonstrations, one-on-one consultations, and lively Q&A sessions. This program is offered through Zoom meeting, allowing you to interact directly with our experts and other attendees for an immersive and enjoyable learning experience. This program includes:

  • 7 lectures and access to recordings
  • Lecture handouts and materials
  • 2 one-on-one consultations (scheduled by our staff ahead of time)
  • Live demonstrations from our experts
