Sarah joins the staff as the Wyner Family Jewish Heritage Center’s new Programming and Outreach Manager. Sarah Quiat has held education and program-management positions at a range of historical institutions, including the Jewish Women’s Archive, where she was most recently the Director of the Rising Voices Fellowship, a teen fellowship program, and the Yiddish Book Center, where she was the Education and Translation Fellow. Sarah is an alumna of Vassar College (where she double majored in Economics and Jewish Studies) and is a trained oral historian. In her role at the JHC, she manages programming and outreach to educate wider audiences about the stories in the JHC’s collections and, more broadly, about American Jewish history and heritage.
