Rebecca earned her B.A. in History from Fitchburg State University and her M.A. in History with a concentration in Archives from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Prior to joining American Ancestors/NEHGS, she worked for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Dedham Historical Society & Library.
