Matt arrived at American Ancestors in October 2021 after three years in project management with a Massachusetts-based water consulting firm. He aids the Publications department in various areas, such as gathering images for each book project, finding freelancers for copyediting and proofing when needed, and more. Matt helps our authors, patrons and freelancers with project-specific inquiries and provides updates on each step of the publication process. He is also a member of the Staff Advisory Council (SAC).
A graduate of Stonehill College’s class of 2018 with a BA in History and a minor in Criminology, Matt has helped produce of multiple books. He is most proud of his work in the 3-volume series Biographies of Original Members and Qualifying Officers: Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Connecticut, where he had a hand in finding many of the photos and images.
With a love of history that has spanned most of his life, Matt’s main interests in the field include the World Wars, the American Civil War, and genealogy, where he is pursuing his Lithuanian and French Canadian roots.
