Kimberly Mannisto joined American Ancestors as a researcher on the Research & Library Services team in 2021. She received her B.A. in English with an emphasis in creative writing from Western Michigan University and is a certificate holder from the Boston University Genealogical Research Certificate program. She was introduced to genealogy at a young age and uses her experience and education to help client’s breakdown difficult brick walls and specializes in writing Ahnentafel and Register-style family history books.
Kimberly is the creator of several courses and webinars for American Ancestors Education & Programming department and a contributor to American Ancestors magazine and the American Ancestors blog, Vita-Brevis.
