Originally an intern at NEHGS, Hailey now works part time on a variety of communication projects. Hailey has worked and wrote for a variety of cultural institutions including the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, the National Archives, the Massachusetts Historical Society, and the John F. Kennedy Library. Her passion for history and genealogy began at a young age when learning that her 3x great uncle was baseball legend Cy Young and her passion has only intensified. Hailey has a Bachelor's Degree in American History and Communication from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Public History from Northeastern University.
