Carrie creates and manages the overall design and visual style for American Ancestors, our quarterly membership magazine. She develops artwork and layouts and manages each issue file from inception to completion. A member of the Learning & Interpretation team, Carrie also contributes her talents and expertise to other projects for her team and across the organization. These include the design of our Annual Stakeholders’ Report and the annual books and gifts sales catalog. Carrie joined the staff of American Ancestors in 1999. Originally a member of the sales department, she began working on the magazine in 2000. She holds a BA in history from Colby College and was previously employed as Director of Education and Volunteers at the New Canaan (Connecticut) Historical Society.
