Welcome!

Thank you for registering for the online conference, Breaking Down Genealogical Brick Walls!

Research your ancestry long enough and you’re bound to hit a brick wall—the paper trail vanishes, the family seemingly disappears, and you’re unable to go back to earlier generations. Whether you are struggling to find an immigrant’s exact origins, uncover a maiden name, determine parentage, or discover where a family moved to, cluster research can help. Join Director of Research Services Lindsay Fulton for a full-day seminar on applying cluster research to your project and how broadening the scope of your search can break through a genealogical brick wall.

Through your participation in this online conference, you will be able to:

  • Participate in multiple sessions throughout the day
  • Interact with the instructor and fellow attendees
  • Take advantage of special offers and virtual “door prizes”
  • Apply what you learn to hands-on activities and case studies
  • Download and/or print handouts, worksheets, and other resources
  • Access recordings of each presentation until November 30, 2019

Instructor: Lindsay Fulton, Director of Research Services
