Meet with an expert genealogist on your family history project during a one-on-one consultation! This unique experience is currently available online through Zoom or over the phone. Observe and learn research methodologies from the experts at American Ancestors.
Take your research to the next level with our hands-on consultation service. Once you submit a request, you will be paired with a genealogist with expertise in your line of inquiry. While our genealogists will not conduct research prior to your consultation, they will review your question and go through possible avenues of research during a one- or two-hour session. Prior to meeting, we ask that you submit any family information relevant to your question, including an online family tree. Our online sessions include a recording for you to review later.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Boston headquarters are closed to in-person visitors so that we may renovate, improve, and expand our facilities. When we reopen, we will offer in-person consultations.
