Thank you for registering for our 2023 Upstate New York Research Tour, which is taking place Tuesday, May 16 - Saturday, May 20, 2023! 

Explore the New York State Library and the New York State Archives with experts from American Ancestors by your side.

Program includes:

Learn how to prepare for your time in Albany and at the New York State Library and Archives, make the most of your one-on-one consultations, and more! This presentation will be held in a zoom meeting format. This means that during our Q&A sessions you will have the option to come on camera, unmute, and ask questions. You also have the option to remain muted with your camera off, and instead ask questions in the meeting chat.

Christopher C. Child

Senior Genealogist of the Newbury Street Press, Editor of Mayflower Descendant and Associate Editor of the Register
Chris Child has worked for various departments at American Ancestors since 1997 and became a full-time employee in July 2003. He has been a member of American Ancestors since the age of eleven.

David Allen Lambert

Chief Genealogist
Areas of expertise: New England and Atlantic Canadian records of the 17th through 21st century; American and international military records; DNA research; and Native American and African American genealogical research in New England.
